Remodeled Lionshead Condo, Pool | VI108

We had a great stay in Vail. The property was perfect for our stay. Vail Management made the reservation, check in and check out easy, even for my first time Vacation Rental experience.

it was another good trip to Vail we’ve been there many times through the years and one of our personal favorites. The unit was very clean and well well appointed. Wow I access to the lift did require some effort they were easy enough to get to, we went to the library to take the free bus over to the main stop closest to the gondola and born free lift very good trip thank you

We stayed for 6 nights during Presidents’ Week. Mgmt Company was a pleasure to work with. Condo was very clean, new carpet and flooring, new sofas, newer kitchen & appliances. Washer / dryer is a great addition though it does take the place of any sort of entryway area to remove and store your ski gear. Condo is much smaller than pictured and rather cramped. Biggest shortcoming is the master bedroom bed and bedding. It was old, cheap and borderline creepy. The kind of bed you just don’t want to get into. Same holds true for the beds in the second bedroom, though they aren’t as bad. New beds and bedding would go a very long way, especially for the cost of the condo for the vacation week. The master bedroom needs a complete update as the mirror behind the bed and the furniture is equally dated. The walls are very thin as well. Second bathroom is minuscule, though water pressure in both showers was great. The unit includes one uncovered parking spot up a flight of stairs, though you can drop off very close to the unit and then park the car. As for location, it is a 12-14 minute walk from the condo to the gondola when in ski boots with ski gear in hand. There is a small hill to climb up and down en route and it is not salted so it is often very slippery. The city shuttle bus is close but also down this same hill. The walk to the Lionshead gondola is along a street that is also not properly maintained so a member of our party fell and was injured. This was off the property of the condo unit but along the route to the ski area. Overall, a decent place to stay as long as you understand what you are really getting for your money.
