Located in the Lift House Lodge, guests enjoy a collection of on-site amenities designed to elevate the Vail experience. The highlight is the fourth-floor rooftop hot tub, a guest favorite and the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain—soak under open skies while taking in the alpine atmosphere, whether it’s fresh snowfall in winter or crisp mountain air in summer. Additional conveniences include elevator access to all floors and coin-operated laundry facilities. The building offers limited first-come, first-served parking for a nightly fee ($50 per night during the winter season and $30 per night in non-winter months), with the Lionshead public parking garage just steps away if the lot is full.

Do not book here in the summer. Buried at the bottom of the listing is the line: "NO air conditioning, but the high-altitude setting and balcony access provide natural cooling throughout the day." It is not accurate, and it made the unit unusable. The overnight low in Vail the night I stayed was 57°F. I ran the fan on full and used the balcony exactly as the listing suggests. It did nothing — the unit held 80–90°F overnight. I measured it. Too hot to sleep. A large wooden divider sits between the living space and the bed and blocks any airflow from reaching where you sleep, so the sleeping area just traps heat even on a cold mountain night. I was here for work and had to find a last-minute hotel just to sleep. I left after the first night and did not stay the other two I booked. I tried to resolve it directly. The manager was pleasant until I asked for the two unused nights back — then her tone flipped and she said I needed to take accountability for booking a unit with no AC. The property needs to take accountability for a misleading listing: "no AC" and "natural cooling throughout the day" cannot both be true. They refunded only one night. I paid for two of three nights I couldn't use, and am owed at least two. Also note: the after-hours entrance is stairs-only, with no step-free access. If you run warm or expect to sleep in summer, do not rely on the "natural cooling" claim.

We loved staying at Lift House! Our unit was in a prime location with a beautiful view! It's not a huge unit, but it was very clean, perfect for the two of us, and it would work with a couple of kids as well. The communication with the property management company was also outstanding.

Exactly as pictured. Perfect for a couple. Excellent location. Kitchen backsplash & area above toaster needs to be upgraded to be heat resistant because there was some heat damage from cooking.
